Did you know that your community has access to state government aid focused on improving public safety in 2023?
Minnesota legislature recently passed a bill that provides millions of dollars to help improve public safety in our communities. The amount available for each locality is calculated according to population and existing per-capita aid amount. This aid must be used before the end of 2023. Each community across Minnesota has their own unique public safety concerns, and this bill gives local governments the authority to use the funding in ways that best meet their specific needs while also receiving help with costs.
